Mountain Valley Express is proud to report that we are in the process of retro-fitting 19 Diesel operated class 8 tractors with new Longview Diesel After Treatment devices manufactured by Cleaire/Cummins. These new exhaust filters will reduce up to 85% of the particulate matter and 25% of the Nitrous of Oxides our engines produce. In our ongoing effort to reduce our Carbon Print and be in compliance with all current and upcoming California EPA air quality regulations we feel it necessary to stay on top the curve and see that we do what we can to be your “GREEN” and “COMPLIANT”.

Tire Retreads Save Money and Resources
Tires are made of petro-chemical products. It takes 22 gallons of oil to manufacture one new truck tire. Most of the oil is found in the casing, which is reused in the retreading process. As a result, only seven gallons of oil are used to produce a retread. By running 823 retreads last year, Mountain Valley Express saved 12,345 gallons of oil.
